Chablis in color indicating cool-climate fruit, the 2005 CV Chardonnay is thick and textured due to gros lees maturation with monthly stirring. The well-integrated oak allows the tropical fruit, citrus zest, freshly baked bread and buttery malolactic characters to shine through, whilst contributing a light toasty nuance to create depth and balance aromatically. 2003 BELLISSIMA ROSSA WINE DOUBLE GOLD-BEST OF CLASS! 2003 Bellissima Rossa was awarded a Double Gold Medal and declared "Best of Class" at the 2007 San Francsico Chronicle Wine Competition. Full Bodied Bordeaux Blend wine, truly a “Beautiful Red”. Dark Ruby with a deep purple hue, this wine opens up with soft and sweet aromas of maple, smoke, cedar and vanilla, then gives way to currants and dates, showing mature Cabernet Sauvignon characteristics. Comprised mostly of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, a little Cabernet Franc was added for complexity.
