|Tsillan Cellars 10 Year Anniversary
|DREAMS COME TRUE
|The dream began in 2000 when Dr. Bob Jankelson purchased 130 acres of prime agricultural property on the south shore of Lake Chelan. He immediately removed the apple trees with the confidence that world class vineyards would replace apples and be the foundation for a spectacular estate winery. He began to design his “dream” Italian destination winery, Tsillan Cellars. A state of the art production facility was completed in September 2003 just in time to crush the first estate grapes that fall. Construction continued through the winter of 2003-04 with the grand opening of the Italianate tasting room on May 1, 2004. June 1, 2012 marked the notable opening of Tsillan Cellar’s spectacular restaurant and special event facility. This May Tsillan Cellars will be celebrating ten years of acclaim as “one of the most beautiful wineries in the Pacific Northwest”.* The past ten years have seen Tsillan Cellars establish a reputation for affordable award winning wines from their estate vineyards and an incomparable destination to meet with friends, family and lovers to enjoy the Italian experience. The month of May will be a celebration of great wine and Italian cuisine surrounded by the incomparable architecture and grounds of Tsillan Cellars. We look forward to sharing this celebration with you.
